In order to effectively share photos of our outings please follow this procedure: 1. If you have taken digital photographs of an outing please bring the digital camera, the memory card or the photos on a USB-zip drive to the next troop meeting. The webmaster will copy the photos to his laptop PC while you wait. 2. Usually within a week, the webmater will post a new web page with your photos on the Troop 1740 website. Please note the photos on the website take up 1/50 of the computer space (bytes) of the original photos. Although they may appear to be of adequate quality, they are not suitable for printing or enlarging. 3. If you desire photos taken by other troop members, please bring a memory card or a USB-zip drive to a troop meeting. The webmaster will copy the desired full quality photos to your device while you wait. Either of these devices can be taken to your local drug store, stationary store or convenience store to print the photographs in any size. 4. In January each scout will be given a DVD-R disk containing all the year's photos in full quality.
